Crochet Heart Tutorial.

Here it is! My first tutorial... how exciting! I thought
for starters, I should do something simple. So today I will share a very simple
crochet heart tutorial.

Materials:

Worsted weight yarn

G hook

yarn needle

Scissors

First, you're going to make a magic circle, and do nine single crochet inside
the circle ( make sure you close up the loop by pulling the tail.), join.
In the first stitch , do 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, and 3 double crochet.
In the next 2 stitches, do 1 half double crochet.
In the next stitch, do 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, chain 1, and do
another half double crochet.
All this makes the first hump. For the second hump, you're going to do 1 half double crochet
in the nest 2 stitches. Then in the next stitch, exactly in this following order, do 3 double crochet,
1 half double crochet, and 1 single crochet.
Now slip stitch in the center of the heart, weave in the ends, and presto a cute little heart!!

I'd love to hear how your heart came out!

Love, Lenisha

Sad but glad news.

My kitty-cat Felix is gone. Yes, a tragedy, I know. It all happened so quick with him.
Last summer, we found him as a three week-year-old  kitten at the gas station. We
loved him, and he had everything a cat could want ( in my opinion). Love,
gourmet cat food, clean litter box, plush bed.
But something went wrong I guess. Felix got very sick , to sick for us to
have him anymore. So we were talking about it to our neighbor, and she said her friend
owns a very good and popular " No kill animal shelter", and she was right!!
They patched him up and they said if he gets better they can try and give him to
 another family.
So Felix is gone...( sniffle).

Now for the glad news!!
My mom doesn't usually like cats, because she grew up with her mom
having like 12 cats and/or more. But she loved Felix and wanted another cat in his
place. SOO  lucky for us  my  mom's co-worker's cat just had orange tabby kittens
and was trying to give them away. So we got the last two that she had, a male and female cat.
We named them Milo and topaz. Doesn't God work in mysterious and miraculous ways?
The Bible says, God will grant you the desires of your heart, if of course you
walk with God and stay in His word.

Aren't they the cutest things!? They are such sweet kitties!!
I'd love to hear how you feel miracles have happened in your life!
